If you plan to leave your vehicle or campsite for anextended period,
please leave a note with the following details:
your departure date, expected return date, car registration number, and your destination.
This way, you can be reached, in case of an emergency, especially since mobile phones do not work in this area.
If you do get lost stay where you are and try and attract attention in a clearing.
Do not spoil your holiday, running into a Kangaroo!
When Driving in the countryside, if you see a Kangaroo cross the road ahead of you, slow down until you pass that point,because 9 times out 10 there will be other kangaroos following it!
If you get lost bushwalking, follow a kangaroo because in no time you will be on the centre of a road.
