please leave a note on the dashboard with the following details: 

your departure date, expected return date, car registration number, and your destination. 

This way, you can be reached, in case of an emergency, especially since mobile phones do not work in this area.

 Capertee is the gateway to the Capertee Valley and a good stopping point if you have been driving a long while, as there are toilets and seating in the Clarence Pirie Park.
